We are immensely proud of our beautiful gardens at Regent's. Not only do they provide an excellent setting in which to study, but they also reflect our commitment to biodiversity and sustainability. We want to ensure that as many people as possible are able to enjoy them and learn more about our institution's fascinating history.

Regent's Garden Guide

08 May 2014

Take an exciting walk around the gardens of Regent's via a downloadable guide & explore 34 key points including beehives & a secret garden.

'The Gardens of Regent's University London' is a detailed look at the history and development of the York lawns. The university site has been dedicated to higher education for more than 100 years, and was originally home to thefirst college of higher educationfor women in Britain. Download the guide here.

Today the gardens are managed to encourage biodiversity and sustainability thanks to a team of dedicated gardeners and trainees. As well our honeybee hives, we grow a selection of vegetables and herbs. We also have a native wildflower meadow in our woodland area.

The York Lawns and secret garden can be hired for events and this Summer enjoy a Free Pimm’s reception with BBQ packages of 100 guests or more.
