The Mad Hatter's
Tea Party & Open Day - Celebrated as a Great Success
21st April, 2010
Regent's College Conference Centre threw open
its doors last Wednesday to showcase it's fantastic
events space and services to current and prospective clients. The
York Lawns were transformed into a magical wonderland with a Mad
Hatter’s Tea Party at the centre of the fun.
Guests were treated to a welcome by the Mad Hatter himself,
then guided through the gardens stopping off to taste wines,
create fabulous cocktails and decorate cup cakes – all for great
prizes.
Chess, Skittles & Inflatables
Activities such as giant chess, skittles, and inflatables added
to the fun and a BBQ and hog roast awaited them later in the
evening. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the events that
can be hosted with us both indoor and out.
Celebrity
Visitor
Jemma Powell,
who played Alice's sister
in the new Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland Film, dropped by to
play croquet with the Queen of Hearts and take tea with the Mad
Hatter.
Great Feedback
The Events team had over 200 people through the course of
the afternoon and evening and the feedback has been fantastic. Here
is just some of the comments guests have emailed to us since:
"I just wanted to mail and say
thank you for hosting such a fabulous event last night! It was
really exceptional with all of the attention to detail and
costumes. The level of customer service was also
impeccable"
"Thank you for a really great
afternoon. It was very well organized and showed the college off to
its full potential. Well done!"
